Empowering emerging communities with Space and Artificial Intelligience technologies to bridge the tech divide.
Connectivity and Innovation.
There is an extraordinarily large connectivity gap amongst the people in emerging markets such as the nations on the African continent, especially in rural regions. This gap enhances the digital divide, because the poor connectivity to allow for access into the global online world, payment gateways and mechanisms for disaster relief that connectivity provides.
This has widened the gap of digital distancing amongst high income and low income nations and their communities. The problem is set to widen given the high cost of connectivity to the internet. There is also a strong underserving of advanced observation of crop yields for agriculture, a lack of communication relay, weather forecasting, inadequate navigation (GPS), broadcasting, scientific research, disaster reland Earth observation in the region where satellites uses are concerned. This leaves the community very vulnerable to disaster based issues ranging from floods, storms, erosion, migration flow challenges and more.
Satellites for impact
A Satellite and Space based organization tapping into existing satellite innovation and building high level satellites to tackle issues pertaining to poor connectivity, low connectivity and in some cases no connectivity at all.
Artificial Intelligience
Leveraging artificial intelligence to improve the functionality of space technologies that already exist to better enhance their operational flow across certain regions and amongst each other. AI to improve data use of satellites, the mobility and accessibility of satellites with ai. AI helping to track the satellite navigation, satellite interconnectivity and satellite forecasting. AI improving satellite broadcasting.
Convergence of Technologies for Supporting African Communities
There is a convergence of Artificial Intelligience and Space Technology to better launch the satellites and seamlessly tap into existing satellites, using the data acquired for the information for better connection, predictive analysis and functionality. The use of AI helps to learn from the data gained, and tap into the datasets of nearby satellites to improve the remote sensing and the coverage of the satellites.
We are using space satellite technologies to help provide connectivity, observe migration flows, support disaster areas in that situation to help save lives and support in improving the standards of living. This spans regional areas across the African continent because of the insufficient coverage provided in comparison with other regions and continents around the world.
Black Star Space is a leading space satellite and artificial inteligience organisation tapping into low earth orbit space to improve the connectivity of mankind for safety and growth especially for the African region.
It provides innovative solutions within the advanced technology space towards accelerating efforts in Africa in tackling disasters and crisis in the region and most significantly bridging the prevalent digital divide across the region for better sustainability and the positive impact of the people.
